Coastal Seascapes 2021 – 2022

In this latest body of work I continue to explore the relationship between the built worlds of shipping, industry and human settlements and natural landscape features, such as beaches, oceans and forests. The effects that the human presence has on nature are profound, continuously altering and reshaping it. As in earlier painting series my approach is speculative, reflecting on possible outcomes that conflate aspects of past, present and future.
